Congratulations to Roman Meza for his recent award of the Dr. William Holcolmb Scholarship in the Academic Excellence in Life and Health Sciences category for the 2019-2020 academic year. The Dr. William F. Holcomb Scholarship was established to recognize students in biomedical sciences or marine biology that have exhibited distinguished academic accomplishments through their research. 
His talk featured his work on the “Structural characterization of replicative DNA polymerase with unexpected reverse-transcriptase activity.”
