The Chaput Lab welcomes Roman Meza! He will be a new undergraduate student in the lab, studying structural biology, specifically X-ray crystallography. Roman officially joins the lab after having spent a summer with the Chaput lab via the UCI Bridges Program, as he starts his first year at UCI. His passion and hard work is sure to pay off, as he looks into the crystal structure of Bst and its mechanism of reverse transcription.
