The Chaput lab took multiple lab members to the International Round Table conference held at the University of California, San Diego by the International Society of Nucleosides, Nucleotides and Nucleic Acids. From August 26th to the 30th, graduate students (Jen-Yu Liao, Saikat Bala, and Ali Nikoomanzar), as well as research scientists, Nicholas Chim, presented posters on their research as well as met and networked with other researchers of the field. Prof. Chaput presented a presentation on the “Structural Basis for TNA Synthesis by an Evolved TNA Polymerase”.
